Thanksgiving Playlist

Because I’m a big music-lover and because I think we need to celebrate Thanksgiving more (and part of celebrating is music), I’m going to share my Thanksgiving playlist with y’all! 😁

You can find it here on YouTube. I listed below the titles and singers (because that’s something I like to have when reading about a playlist) with links to each individual song on YouTube and some comments from mwah.

Ain’t God Good – Gold City Quartet. I also blogged about it here.

A New Anointing – Praise & Harmony. “This is the day that the Lord has made / … / I will rejoice and be glad in it.”

As We Gather at Your Table – OCP Session Choir. So this is maybe more of a Communion song? I don’t know what you’d call it. But because of the gather, table, feast, etc. and because it just sounds Thanksgiving-ish to me, it’s on the list.

Beautiful Moments in Time – Southern Raised

Big Love, Small Moments – JJ Heller. These GIFS are so pleasing/peaceful. 😊

Counting Every Blessing – Best Friends. Original artist: Rend Collective.

Count That High – Jordan Feliz. Referred to when I started Thanksgiving All November.

Count Your Blessings – JJ Heller

Doubly Good to You – Acapella. Written by Rich Mullins; also sung by Amy Grant. Fun fact! Amy Grant (and therefore following artists) sang the first few lyrics wrong because they couldn’t understand Rich’s first recording and handwritten lyrics. See this video for the story and correct lyrics (mainly 1:20-2:12 and 2:50-3:00).

Everyday Miracles – Sara Groves

Everything Is Fine – Josh Turner

For the Beauty of the Earth – Michelle Swift

Gifts from God – Chris Tomlin ft. Chris Lane

Give Thanks – Hallal Music

Gobble Gobble – Matthew West. This one makes me laugh and cringe so hard. 🤣 This is the audio video, but there’s also an official music video if you want to laugh and cringe more.

God of the Harvest – Sight & Sound Theatres. From the David soundtrack, which has so many songs I love!

He’s Always Been Faithful – Sara Groves

Hold On to That – Wild Fire

I’m So Blessed – CAIN. I’m not sure how I feel about the sound/style, but I like the words and how it’s so joyful. 🤷 There’s also this slightly different version by them.

In His Presence – Buddy Greene

I See You – JJ Heller

It’s Gonna Be a Good Day – Kingdom Heirs

Let Everything That Has Breath – Sight & Sound Theatres. Also from the David soundtrack. It’s slow/peaceful/simple/repetitive for the first minute-and-a-half but then changes.

My Favorite Things – Julie Andrews (from The Sound of Music)

New Day – Psalm 100. Original artist: Robbie Seay Band.

New Doxology – The ZOE Group

Ordinary Days – JJ Heller

Richly Blest – Hallal Music

Sooner Count the Stars – Sovereign Grace

Spring Again – Simon Khorolskiy & Sisters. This one is in Russian (lyric translation in video description). I mainly included it for the video vibes.

Thanksgiving Medley (2020) – Saddleback Worship.

Thanks to God – Nathaniel Ladies Ensemble. I blogged about it here.

Thank You – Hallal Music

Thank You, Lord – Chris Tomlin ft. Thomas Rhett & Florida Georgia Line

Thank You, Lord – Hallal Music

Thank You, Lord, For Your Blessings – Jeff & Sheri Easter

The Thanksgiving Song – Ben Rector

We Gather Together – CelebratingHolidays

What a Wonderful World – Louis Armstrong. I like how this one sounds, but in this one, you get to see his huge grin while singing and it just makes me happy.

10,000 Reasons (Bless the Lord) – David Wesley. This is an acapella cover of the one below.

10,000 Reasons (Bless the Lord) – Matt Redman

What songs would you add to the list? Always open to more music. šŸ˜‰
