“I feel like I’m walking barefoot on sharp gravel.” That’s a slow, wincing-with-every-step process for me. And life is like that sometimes.
We so often look for miracles. We want God to show up in a mighty way and make everything right. We long for miracles–and here they are. Happening inside us.
“He was always saying that Jesus died for him–died to save him–and if-if he ever had to give up his life to save somebody else, well, he’d do it. And he did.”
She came to him…not knowing what to do. Her husband was dead, and she had no money; they were in debt to a man who now was threatening to take her sons as payment.
But one day I heard the notes…of His voice. He was calling me to something different; He was inviting me to dance with Him.
“But You want me to be Your child?” I ask. “You want me to live with You? You’ll take care of me?…Why?”
“Because I love you,” He replies.
