My New Name

Call me by my new name.
Give me strength to not give in
To the lies whispering in my head,
The lies that say I’m not enough.

Call me by my new name.
Drown out the call of the world;
May I hear only Your voice
Reminding me who I am in You.

Call me by my new name.
Tell me I’m forgiven,
I’m loved, I’m redeemed,
I’m set free, I’m Yours.

Call me by my new name.
Help me to live
In a way that honors You,
That makes You proud to claim me.

Call me by my new name.
Don’t let me lose sight of who I was,
Yet not forget who I’ve become
By Your power and love.

Call me by my new name:
Child of the King, Overcomer,
One who is saved, Blessed,
Freed captive, Recipient of grace.
