Come On!

Matthew 14:24-33 tells about Jesus and Peter walking on the water; we know the story. In verse 28, Peter says to Jesus, “Lord, if it is really you, tell me to come to you on the water.” Jesus replies, in verse 29, “Come on!”*

There will be storms in your life. There will be times when it’s dark. Times when you’re stuck, not going anywhere. Times when you’re freaking out and wondering if you’ll ever see the sunrise again.

But if you listen closely, you might hear Jesus saying, “Come on!”

Get out of the boat, out of your comfort zone and what you think is safe. Let go of everything normal. Don’t pay attention to others’ cries of “You’re crazy!” Look at Him and start walking. You might have no clue what will happen or where you’re going, but just trust Him! If you sink, He’ll lift you up, He’ll help you rise.

Believe…

And come on.
