For forty long years God’s people journeyed in the wilderness
Searching for Canaan, that blessed promised land
They never went too hungry nor they never got too thirsty
But the more that God kept blessing them, the more they would complain
[chorus]
Ain’t God good to give us so many blessings
Undeserving, that’s what we are
We ought to thank Him, love and praise Him
A little more today and a whole lot more tomorrow
In the time that we live so many are unthankful
And any more they fail to see that God has given all
Never having time for God they’re always busy working
To pay for cars, new homes, TVs, and carpets wall to wall

This is a somewhat-old, catchy song that I first heard on a tape (yes, I have and listen to tapes; I’m not completely a modern child š). And it’s so true! God is so good, and He’s given us so many blessings–even though we’re undeserving. Because of that all, we should thank, love, and praise Him, “a little more today and a whole lot more tomorrow.”
What are some blessings you’re thankful for? š
His countined drawing, His Holy Spirit, His Word, believers that encourage and challenge me, and His everlasting love!!! š
And lots of other blessings…. The best parents(they aren’t perfect, but, they are the best for me… š) Youth group, cousins, family, godly friends, a wonderful church, health, (ability to run and be active!) talents from God, my dog…. And Egg nog and dark chocolate š³šš
And I could go on but… Wow. God is so good. š¤šš
Those are all wonderful blessings (I’ll pass on the dark chocolate though š)! Yeah, there are so many blessings we could list; in fact, we probably couldn’t name them all, like I mentioned in the beginning of Thanksgiving All November. Hallelujah! š„°
