A Prayer Acrostic

Provide for my needs–give me what I stand in need of; grant me daily bread.
Lead me in Your paths–show me where to go; direct my steps.
Ease my burdens–they’re so hard to carry, Lord; have mercy and comfort me.
Anoint my lips–give me the words to say; help me to say only what You say.
Strengthen me–when I’m tired and drained, fill me with Your power.
Excite me–give me a passion for godly things; fill me with joy.

Lift up my head–when I’m down, lift my chin and remind me to look up.
Order Your angels around me–protect me; hide me under sheltering wings.
Restore and refresh–fill my cup; lead me beside still waters in green pastures.
Destroy strongholds in my life–break the chains and the idols; set me free.
